We know that the first visit to any new doctor’s office can often be a stressful experience, and we are going to do our best to make this a pleasant experience for you. One way that we can calm some of your apprehension is to let you know what to expect on your first visit.

First we will greet you and obtain information including your driver’s license and insurance card. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first appointment. This will enable us to answer any questions you may have and get your information into our system so your doctor can see you on time. This will also give us a chance to get to know you.
Dress comfortably. Keep in mind that the doctor will need to observe the area of pain. While we often need our patients to be gowned for x-rays and some exams, we will take every measure to ensure your privacy.
Please bring any X-rays, MRIs, CT Scans, and/or tests that have been performed in relation to your problem or injury.
A detailed history and examination will be performed to assess your problem, this may include x-rays if indicated. Treatment may be given on the initial visit, especially for those in acute pain.

To Our Valued Patients,

At MSA Orthopedics, we strive to provide the safest and best possible health care available.

As our communities continue to feel the increased impact of Coronavirus, we feel it is important to share with you what we are doing to help keep people safe and healthy. Please be assured that we have implemented protocols based on the guidelines of the CDC and local public health officials.

In addition to our normal protocols for sanitization and safety, we have added a screening process at our front entrance for of all who enter MSA Orthopedics. We’ve instructed anyone, both patients and staff, who are not feeling well to stay home out of an abundance of caution, and to self-monitor their symptoms for at least fourteen days. Please know that MSA will have staff available at 229-435-0525 to help with any needs that arise or any questions you may have regarding these new protocols.

As the situation evolves, MSA may implement additional preventative measures to ensure Patient and Team Member wellbeing. We are committed to maintaining the safest, healthiest environment possible and will communicate any necessary changes immediately.

Actions we have taken over the past several years have helped us prepare for scenarios like this and throughout this process, we have been continuously refining and implementing new procedures. From hygiene to cleaning and sanitation, we have allocated an abundance of resources throughout our clinic that go above and beyond CDC requirements. Your safety is important to us.

Thank you in advance for your patience as we navigate this challenging situation. We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops. We are committed to continuous service to our communities, while maintaining our focus where it belongs: on our Valued Patients and Team Members.
