Athletic Trainers
Brian Davis, MS, LAT, ATC
Brian is a nationally certified and State of Georgia licensed athletic trainer who provides athletic training services for Lee County High School and the Jets and Lady Jets of South Georgia Technical College. Before joining MSA Orthopedics, he worked with Premier Orthopedics and served as the Head Athletic Trainer for Valdosta High School in Valdosta, GA.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Valdosta State University, along with a health and physical education certification. He later obtained a Master of Science in Exercise Science from California University of Pennsylvania.
Brian is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association (SEATA), and Georgia Athletic Trainers’ Association (GATA). He also holds a Georgia teaching certificate in health and physical education.
Brian is married to Audra Davis, and they have two children, Anna and Jordan.
Emily Newton, LAT, ATC
Emily provides athletic training services for Lee County High School and has been a dedicated Athletic Trainer for the past five years.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of North Florida in 2019. A nationally certified and State of Georgia licensed athletic trainer, Emily is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) and the Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association (SEATA).
Emily currently resides in Albany with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
