Barret

Barrett Chaffin, NP

Barrett graduated in 1997 with his associate degree in Nursing and obtained his RN license. Two short years later he finished his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Barrett started his career at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital where he worked in several challenging settings that included critical care, cardiovascular surgery, and emergency medicine. In 2005, Barrett obtained his Master of Science in Nursing.

Since then he has worked in critical care and cardiology with his most recent experience being in orthopedics. He has worked with Dr. Prince for the past eight years and enjoys the challenges of his work. In 2017 he completed his First Assist Certification and is working towards a Nurse Practitioner Certification in orthopedics.

In his free time Barrett enjoys watching his daughters play soccer, beekeeping, exercising, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and attending church at Providence Church in Albany, GA. Barrett and his wife, Meg, currently reside in Albany with their two daughters.

zach

Zach Jones

Zach was born and raised on a farm in northeast Alabama. He attended University of South Alabama; where he graduated with his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Exercise Science. He then worked as a medical assistant at an orthopedic practice in Mobile, AL before being accepted into Physician Assistant Studies program at his alma mater. He graduated in 2019 with his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies.

He is married, has 3 dogs, and enjoys exercising, hunting, and traveling.

Lisa Graves, NP

Lisa began her nursing career in 1981. She became a Nurse Practitioner in 1992 after graduating from the University of Tennessee at Memphis. She moved to Cordele in 1998 and began working in Orthopedics. She has previously worked with Dr. Prince for 15 years. Lisa is joining MSA to work at the Cordele location. Lisa enjoys working on her farm taking care of animals and gardening. She also enjoys painting, sewing, refurbishing furniture and interior design. Lisa is married to Thomas Graves. She has two daughters and two grandchildren.

leslie

Leslie Mashburn, PA-C

Leslie Mashburn was born and raised in Albany, GA. She attended Valdosta State University where she majored in Biology. In 2006, Leslie graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Medical College of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.

Upon graduation, Leslie returned to Albany and began working with Dr. Phillip Hajek at Musculoskeletal Associates. In 2007, she moved to Savannah, GA to continue her career in orthopedics. She worked at Chatham Orthopedic Associates specializing in total joint replacement surgery, orthopedic trauma, and adult reconstruction. Leslie decided to move back to her hometown of Albany in 2014 to raise her family.

She is a member of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants.

Leslie and her husband, Jay reside in Albany with their two children, Lila and Jake. They enjoy attending First Christian Church of Albany and spending time with family and friends.

lindsay-carr

Lindsay Carr, PA-C

Lindsay Carr, PA-C is a certified physician assistant who was born and raised in Leesburg, GA. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2014 from Thomas University, where she was a 2-year member of the softball team. She holds a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from South University in Savannah, Georgia, which she obtained in 2017.

Prior to PA school, Lindsay worked as a medical assistant at MSA orthopedics, giving her invaluable experience in treating and caring for patients. Lindsay works closely with Dr. McGee and the rest of the orthopedic team to maximize results and minimize recovery time.

Lindsay is a lifelong resident of Lee County and currently resides there with her husband, Josh. A graduate and former athlete of Lee County High School, she enjoys watching, playing, and coaching sports, and you can find her on game day cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. She is a member of Greenbriar Church and enjoys exercising, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
