Brian Davis
Brian Davis provides athletic training services for Lee County High School, as well as the Jets and Lady Jets of South Georgia Technical College. Prior to joining MSA, he worked with Premier Orthopedics and was the head athletic trainer for Valdosta High School, Valdosta, GA.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training, as well as health and physical education certification from Valdosta State University. He obtained a Master of Science in exercise science from California University of Pennsylvania.
A nationally certified and State of Georgia licensed athletic trainer, Brian is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association (SEATA) and Georgia Athletic Trainers Association (GATA). He also has a Georgia teaching certificate in health and physical education.
Brian is married to Audra Davis, and they have two children, Anna and Jordan.
Tim Hughley
Tim Hughley received his Doctor of Philosophy in Athletic Training from Rocky Mountain University of Health Profession in Provo, Utah. His specialization while attending was pedagogy and research. Dr. Hughley received his Master of Education in Health and Physical Education from Albany State University and Bachelor of Science in Education from Georgia Southwestern State University. He is nationally certified as an Athletic Trainer and Licensed in Georgia, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist, National Certified Personal Trainer, and Credentialed in Exercise is Medicine at level 2. Dr. Hughley recently completed a yearlong Post Doctorate Certification in Emergency Practice in Athletic Training. Dr. Hughley is retired from the United States Army where he served in the medical profession as physical therapy and medical technicians. He has worked in skilled nursing, outpatient and inpatient physical therapy, acute care, and trauma centers.
Dr. Hughley served as Head Athletic Trainer for 12 years at Albany State University and in 2004 was awarded the Southeast Athletic Trainer’s Association, “College Athletic Trainer of the Year”. Dr. Hughley’s clinical and academic interests include prevention and treatment of anterior cruciate ligament ruptures in female athletes and pedagogical methodologies that increase student learning. He is married for thirty years to Chequita Hughley and has two sons Cornell and Courtland Hughley.
